XMail Forum > XMail Server > Changing Smtp Port From Command Line

Posted by: srudolf Jan 3 2013, 02:59 PM
Hi.

I have a Xmail Server into an Win 2000 server. I need to change the SMTP port from 25 to 587. How can I do that? I already have tried to read the official documentation from www.xmailserver.org but I am lost!

How can I set parameters by command line in DOS prompt (is this the right way?) into Win2000 server to Xmail server? I need to set -SI 587 but I don't know how!!!

I am so sorry, but my english is not so good...

If you run XMail as service, you have settings (root directory and command line) in:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GNU\XMail

So just add the option to MAIL_CMD_LINE variable.

Thanks a lot!

I had really done this by suggestion from another member and in fact it has been executed perfectly.

Anyway, I'm grateful for your reply.
