QUOTE | This is more an alpha than a pre-release. It contains the back-ported SSL code:
http://www.xmailserver.org/xmail-1.24-pre01.tar.gz http://www.xmailserver.org/xmail-1.24-pre01.win32bin.zip
There are the new CAPA and STLS POP3 commands. The new STARTTLS SMTP command. New forms of authentication besides CLR and APOP in POP3 links. Native implementation of POP3S and SMTPS (and CTRLS). New SSL-enabled CtrlClnt. Even though I'm currently using it in my server, I would not suggest production use at the moment. Please play with it and report bugs. the Windows version already contains debug EXE and PDB. Look at the "SSL CONFIGURATION" section of the manual for how to setup XMail.
