Hello, I have xmail installed and was wondering if there was a tutorial out there for installing a webmail script with it, something like hivemail or squirrelmail or something. I have never done it before.

Thanks.

Sure, Many are out there.

But Uebimiau is nice. http://www.uebimiau.org/

UebiMiau is a simple, yet efficient cross-plataform POP3/IMAP mail reader written in PHP. It's have some many features, such as: Folders, View and Send Attachments, Preferences, Search, Quota Limit, etc. UebiMiau DOES NOT require database or extra PHP modules (--with-imap)

You call that nice? That's fantastic! I just spent two days trying to (more or less) get Horde IMP to work on my Win32 IIS, to notice that it really only has all features when you have an IMAP server. Now I spent 15 minutes to download and install uebimiau and it's the best I've ever seen.
Just don't be tempted to go for the RC of the latest version.

This leaves me two days minus 15 minutes to learn how to pronounce uebimiau biggrin.gif

Horde is easy to setup on linux, but I have never tried to do it on windows and I will never try to do it. tongue.gif
Yes, UebiMiau is realy nice piece of software but I myself am working now with UMPL webmail which is also great and you have also admin functions included which you don't have in uebimiau.

Actually it went in so easy I thought I made a mistake. huh.gif

As far as I know this is the only one (even for Linux, but I could be mistaking) that offers webmail for POP3 with extra folders and an address book and that's for free. I allmost bought Endymion MailMan, wich is just as good as uebimiau, but isn't open source nor free...

If only uebimiau was the first webmail client I looked at, that would have saved me days and even weeks of installing, testing and searching for webmail clients.

I'm sorry to go on about this, but I'm just so delighted to at last have found what I've been looking for. image008.gif

In case you didn't know, you can change passwords in Uebimiau. You just need simply add on:

I've just installed Uebimaiu and can't seem to get it to work. When I browse to my URL, all I get is the source code of the php page. I have verified that php is working by just creating aphp page ans submitting phpinfo(). It comes up fine, but when I try to load the index.php, I get only source. Anyone have an idea of what might be wrong?

Thanks Vger, But the installation was pretty simple, I believe I cannot mess with it ... I also dont have any one of these contributions like QTPro, CCCGVtrad and oscAffiliate

There were only three files to copy,

1-catalogextmodulespaymentpaypal_ipnipn.php
2-catalogincludesmodulespaymentpaypal_ipn.php
3-catalogincludeslanguagesenglishmodulespaymentpaypal_ipn.php
Installation was pretty simple.

I will try installing it again

hope it will work this time.
