XMail Forum > Documentation and Knowledge Base > Courier Imap Crlf Problem Again

Posted by: Paddy78 May 15 2007, 10:25 AM
Hi,

I'm using XMail 1.24 on a Linux system along with Courier IMAP 4.1.2

IMAP works fine: I can login, create folders and receiving emails. But now there is a problem with some mailclients like Outlook Express 6: OE shows the full source of the email, not the body.

I have read in the forum that it is a problem with the format of the email file (CR/LF) and that there is a patch for Courier IMAP. The 2 links I have found are broken and I couldn't find any patch for that problem with google. A link with a patched binary version of imapd works, but it's for an older version of Courier IMAP.

Does anyone know how to get it to work?

Hi,

if anyone has the same problem:

I'm using a custom filter for incoming messages that replaces every CRLF with a LF, it works and it's even fast: It took 1 second only for a 5 MB mail.
