@k-dub:
That's also what I am waiting for ... some way to store email either to the users local maildir oder some way to fetch email directly via port 993 from XMail.

My vote was for the "Better remote admin tool".

XPAI does not do enough ... and I'm not _the fan_ of hacking cryptic text files. *eg*

Meszi.

I see ... but Davide's policy is to stay independent from local accounts. Surely this has pros and cons ...

You should direct stunnel output to a logfile (use "stunnel >> logfile" to have it append to the previous). Obviously, this is not ideal, but at least it leaves some trace of who did what.

I've choosed admin tool couse.... The admin tools for windows (programs) are don't support all options. & web admin tools are very simple. Not many options are there. There is some system that is based on .asp.. Not all people got asp servers running too use it. & I don't like very much editing text files (it takes much more time than using some software for configuration).

The idea about the admin tool is as follows:
- It needs to support ALL CTRL functions.
- It is either written in PHP or in a portable GUI environment (wxWindows).
- The underlying database will be MySQL.
- Most functions will work without a database.
- It provides a plugin interface for system extensions.

Meanwhile there exists a domain wide bayesian filter:

SpamBayes is one of the most accurate solutions, but requires to be trained well.

And why not a complete administration tool which uses a secure channel (and a secure protocol), could be used for remote administration, has the ability of manipulate logs of all types, etc.

You can use stunnel on the ctrl protocol as a secure channel with any admin tool out there. See http://www.stunnel.org for more details.

What I need is a way to get some statistics about the domains.
I need:
1. current HD usage for a domain.
2. Monthly bandwidth usage for a domain.

Preferred on a MySQL table for easy access by other scripts that I use.

Better documentation is required. The documentation leaves something to be desired. If anyone would like some help with the documentation, let me know and we'll go through all the ambiguities and correct them.

As far as tools go, the best tool would be a tool to check if the server can be used for SPAMMING which then offers some suggestions on correcting the problems.
