XMail Forum > XMail Server > Xmail Installation

I've used Xmail for several years, I had to migrate to a new server and I cannot install or run Xmail.
My OS is FreeBSD 10.1-RELEASE (GENERIC)
I built it.
This is what appears:

# sh sysv_inst.sh
SysV init directory does not exist: /etc/rc.d/init.d
(directory exists but init.d NO)

# sh xmail.bsd
WARNING: /var/MailRoot or /usr/pkg/etc/xmail DOES NOT Exist.
Please run 'xmail-setup' first.

(/var/MailRoot exists but there is no /usr/pkg/, just /usr )

Does anybody has an idea about how to finis the installation or setup?
I do not know what else to check...

Thank you !!

I tried copying the old xmail.sh (instead of the new xmail.bsd) and Xmail started. However it appears that Xmail's sendmail does not work. Could it be possible?
