Hello,

I've tried out XQM Agent, because I want to manage 2 XMail-Servers remotely on 2 Windows boxes.
I haven't found an option to enforce CTRL-Login, so I assume that the Agent can not be restricted other then setting "trusted" IPs.
That would be nice, however, because there are no such IPs if I want to be able to login from any workstation in an internal net, or if the IPs are dynamic. Another example is my DMZ, I don't want to be able to login to another server without password.

Regards, Manuel Martin

You can use either trusted static IPs or dynamic IPs via host name resolution. See XQM manual for details.

I think about an optional username/password login procedure for one of its next releases. But this only makes sense, when a SSL tunnel or a compressed data stream can be established.

Couldn't this be acheived using the Stunnel SSL wrapper provided that the XQM agent has clientside SSL ability?

Note at the moment, because the RPC protocol lib of this Python version does not support SSL. But it hopefully will in future.
