Just run the exe file, very simpel. No installation is needed as far I can remember.

BTW: You should also have a look to XMWizard from Shawn Anderson, which is a far advanced config & maintenance tool for XMail server.

I will try anything at this point in time.. I can only get half the web base apps to work so far. I will do as you suggest for that xmwizard app.. can you suggest any online web base apps for the users out there to read and send email from? the two of them that I have and installed are halfway working.. on one of them http://www.thenet4you.com/xmailwebmail/ you can log in, but you can create a new email message at all. it is grayed out.. and you can really respond to an email at all.. because you only know it is there but can not really see it.. it is so weird.. and the other one I got online right now is http://www.thenet4you.com/xmadmin/ which I really like the way it looks.. BUT.. at the bottom of page it says that buffering must be on.. what the heck is that? and plus, i have not been able to log into that app at all.. with ANY user name or password for any option... could you help me with that program?
I will go download the other one right now.. and thanks!!!

Ed

One of the best webbased mail client i've seen so far is WorldClient from Deerfield (Commercial).

I haven't used the applications you mention, so you should make contact with the author of the app.

About the buffering question: it looks like you have disabled buffering in IIS for the virtual directory, OR, it is a bug in the asp file. Again contact the author.
