I've just upgraded my 0.69 to 0.74 using rpm on RedHat7.1. I've worked out the change in directory structure from mailbox to MailDir. I'm left with a slowness in sending emails from the local network to anywhere. It connects, but takes a long time on files more than 5kb in size. I've checked the named setup, played with parameters on server.tab like MaxFileSize etc and startup parameters but not getting anywhere. What did I do wrong?

Ah. Thanks David,
I have control of my DNS but not the in-addr.arpa part (ISP assigns this) so they don't really match. I suppose if I change my host name to match the in-addr name I should be fine (and not easy on a semi-dynamic IP address), or is there a parameter in the Server.tab file that I can change. Idmon |
