Hi,
I've made this page for my company's troubleshooting purposes but then I thought it would be nice to make it available on the web.
Anyway since it's a work in progress please post your suggestions/corrections here or to jakopec@supereva.it.

Ciao

Hi Harald,
this is something different from the standard reply codes, each mail server implements the last digit (xxX) differently and some don't even follow the RFC's. The list tries also to explain the possible causes related to Xmail config files. The replies come directly from the source code but I'm not shure about some xxx.TAB values, have a look, I'm shure your the best person to ask for a comment about this.

If you cannot reach it try here (:

Hi,

I was able to access the 2nd link and ... WOW!!! You did a very good job!
I'm sure this will help a lot of users!

I checked your list agains the source and I found nothing you missed.

Let me know, which link is final and I'll add this to the pinned messages.

Well, I'll try my best.

As soon the page is ready you'll be the first to know, I just need my company to aprove it.

Oh how I love open source!

At the moment I'm working on a COM object that validates e-mail boxes throught web-based e-mail cheking.

Next thing, if I can, will be Linux HA Server howto (High Availability, M$ cluster is too expensive for us)

Thanks

>Oh how I love open source!

Indeed ... no need for the programmer to document things in the manual :-))

>At the moment I'm working on a COM object that validates e-mail boxes throught web-based e-mail cheking.

COM makes fun ....

I see you've got a lot of work!

In one of the next weeks I'll compile a FAQ out of the past messages here. If it's OK, I'll include your SMTP err list.
Think this will bring more light into XMail and its handling. ...
