Pop3 Service Only, can not use pop3 without smtp service

I installed xmail into my asus wl-500gp and it work perfectly with below cmd_line

CODE

XMAIL_CMD_LINE="-SX 1 -X- -Qn 1 -Y- -F- -Ln 1 -PX 1 -B- -CX 1"

But because of limited of ram in my router. I want to disable smtp service with

CODE

XMAIL_CMD_LINE="-S- -X- -Qn 1 -Y- -F- -Ln 1 -PX 1 -B- -CX 1"

with this cmd_line pop3 will not recieve mail any more. Sender will get error 553(or 533 some thing like this
