Note that I just finished to code it, and I'm going home now because I'm
pretty tired. This means that it is untested. Also, the documentation is

create a "msgsync" directory inside $MAIL_ROOT. Also, what before was the
authentication type (CLR, APOP, STLS, ...), now becomes a comma-separated
list of options. One of these is "Leave", that uses the new feature. So
for APOP for example, the field becomes "APOP,Leave". Of course, the first
time it is used, all the messages on the remote server will be fetched.
Also, the remote server MUST support the UIDL command, in order to have
"Leave" work:
