Hi,
All the mails in the queue are getting this error. I can not send any mail out of server. I can telnet to any smtp server and send mail through telnet. Also when I setup another stand alone 3rd party smtp server in the same box and instruct xmail to forward all smtp to this server (through smtpfw.tab) everything works fine. Briefly while xmail cannot establish smtp connections outside, any other smtp server is OK in the same box . Can be a dns cache problem ? Any thoughts ? Thanks in advance oytun |

"No Smtp Out" .. This does not look like a XMail error message to me. Can you pls post the complete SLOG entry of a bounced message ?

It may seem stupid but error message is "417 Temporary Delivery Error" I just added the "no smtp out" trying to describe the situation. $ telnet yontemizlik.com 25

Please make sure that all other SMTP services are stopped before starting XMail. If this dos not solve your problem, it might be a DNS issue. In that case clear MailRoot/dnsroots and enter an IP of a known working DNS. Then restart XMail and try again. -------------------- Bye,

417 Temporary delivery error
That's normally a message that the remote SMTP-server tells you. If I see those logs, I would think that your XMailserver was able to establish a connection, talk to the remote server, but got a response "417 Temporary delivery error". This is something that is used for greylisting, but I didn't think GMail did greylisting... |

Hi Thanks for all answers.
Possibily at that time I had already shut down the server for working. Now the issue is RESOLVED I think clearing dnscache was the solution. yhanks again -oytun |
