XQM 1.47 PRE07: http://xmail.marketmix.com/preview/XQMWin_Install.exe Other platforrm releases will follow. New in this one: - PSync icon was not locked - fixed. - After closing the minimized window, XQM did not open on next startup - fixed. - Column sorter was broken - fixed. - Sorted columns are re-sorted again after a new query. - Erase dialog is closed before queue is requeried. - Selecting a new profile will not start a dialog with the Agent anymore. This makes things faster. - parse.lib updated to 1.21. - Extended builtin knowledge base in some places. ToDo: - Rework some icons - thanks Alexis! (1) - Add a more comfortable profile selector wich pops up on startup. (2) - Add some tools to the inspect menu: Get_complete_message, Resubmit, Save_as_file (2) ToDo/Agent: - Add psync_trigger() (1) - Add command line parameter to skip queue preflight for faster startup (1) - Add command line parameter to use a local xqmagent.conf (1) (1) = Available in next release (2) = Planned for future releases If there are further requests, pls let me know. |

If would be nice if the profile selector could have the option (default yes) to always show up when you start XQM. Sometimes I do not have the agent running and if I start XQM I have to wait a minute for it to timeout. Will you provide a beta Agent to test? |

>If would be nice if the profile selector could have the option (default yes)... OK Next version will test connectivity faster. >Will you provide a beta Agent to test? Yep! There will be at least 1 pre release for Win32 and Linux. |

Hi Harald, If the spoolfile inspector is open and then you right-click on a message and try to defrost, it hard locks XQM. Only way to get out is to kill the process. It is repeatable and it doesn't matter the state the selected message is in or if it is the same message as in the spoolfile inspector. Pre07 works nice otherwise. |

Another problem, but not sure it's XQM... After I delete frozen and resending (ones that were frozen and I try them one last time) files, I get an Errcode -55 Spool file not found and then 554 error loading spool file. It looks like it is trying to pull files from the rsnd directory. It doesn't look like it causes any major problems, just wanted to let you know. Norb |

XMail complains about the stolen file. But that's OK, it hasn't further side effects ... |

I broke it wxPython: stdout/stderr Traceback (most recent call last): File "qmgrwin.py", line 1104, in OnCloseWindow KeyError: 'win_pos_old' Happened when I tried to quit the program. Local system is windows XP SP1. Remote XMail system is Windows 2003. |

Just more of a helpful note. I was trying to flush the queues (never had a reason to do it before), and so I went through setting up the profile. XQM worked out of the box otherwise, so I never set up a profile. I actually read the help doc ( ), but still couldn't get it to work. What I found was that if you have multiple IP addresses and you specify the IP address on XMail startup, you must put that IP address in the CTRL access at. Localhost or 127.0.0.1 does not work. Just a little hint. -- maybe only for me. |
