Having managed to get XMail 1.23 running on Solaris 7 Sparc a few months back a power spike has badgered the root disk so I'm trying to get a new server up ASAP but running into the same old problems sad.gif

This time I'm trying under Solaris 10 Sparc but getting the same error message I started with on 7:

# make -f Makefile.sso
make: Fatal error in reader: Makefile.sso, line 27: Unexpected end of line seen

This is happening with:
- 1.23
- 1.23 pre02 (tar that worked on 7)
- 1.24
- 1.25 pre09

The box is a fresh install with the "shove everything on" options, then adding the following from sunfreeware.com
- gcc 3.4.6
- libiconv 1.11
- make 3.81
- openssl 0.9.8e
and adding /usr/ccs/bin (gcc install location) and /usr/local (libiconv & make install locations) to root's path.

Anything obvious I'm missing/any suggestions?

Thanks,

Fiddled my path and found it was finding the default Solaris make before it got to gmake, so now over the first hurdle...and falling at the second.

make -f Makefile.sso
g++ -o bin/MkMachDep MkMachDep.o -lssl -lcrypto -ldl -lsocket -lnsl -lpthread -lrt
ld: fatal: library -lssl: not found
ld: fatal: library -lcrypto: not found
ld: fatal: File processing errors. No output written to bin/MkMachDep
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make: *** [bin/MkMachDep] Error 1
