I've been using xmail for quite a while and it's been working great. I decided to use an external mail forwarding service and have them deal with spam scanning and virus filtering. This meant that I changed my MX record (blah.com) from my server to theirs. I then configured their server to forward to my (old) server, but to a subdomain (mail.blah.com). So now I need to convince xmail to receive mail to mail.blah.com and forward it to the local domain blah.com. I used PHPXmail to create a custom domain mail.blah.com and setup a local redirect to blah.com. This resulted in:
From all I can read that should be all I need to do, but I get "Relaying denied" messages when I send mail to mail.blah.com (directly, not via my external forwarding service). I'm running xmail 1.22 with PHPXmail 1.5 on a QNAP NAS device. Thanks in advance. |
