I am getting mail rejected from one Domain, Can someone tell me if it is a DNS error or a Mail From syntax error or both, this seems the only Domain I cant send to, even AOL and Hot Mail are accepting mail from my server,

There is a problem with DNS MX entry. Look how it is formed:
mail.nslm.co.uk. the last dot is invalid. It should be: mail.nslm.co.uk This is not xmail problem. -------------------- Bye,

Thanks Atomant,
I thought the error looked like the recipients mail server was saying there was an error with a zone on my name server, Is it possible you could explain the error to a DNS and Xmail Noob Ta. |

Well I am no expert in DNS. I just know some basic stuff.

The last dot is valid 
Not XMail problem. This is the revers zone problem. Some mail servers try to resove from IP to HOST, and from HOST to IP. If U don't have reverse DNS zone, the mail server can't resolv your HOST name. Try: nslookup your.ip.xx.xx - OK? try again, but from http://www.all-nettools.com/tools1.htm (NSLookUp: your.ip.xx.xx) - do U see your hostname? Reverse zone can be delegated by your ISP. |

Yes my IP does resolve to my domain, but not to my client’s domain, this seems to be the norm out there so far as I can see,
There does seem to be a problem with the first MX for the recipients Domain, seems not to be available. Regards. |
