When I open XQM manager it automatically start to query spool dir without my click on the query button. Is this normal ? If I remember wright, in earlier versions it didn't query automatically.

It starts 1 single thread which scans the whole queue. This fills your drive's cache and the following queries are slightly faster then. This happens only 1 time, directly after start.
