XMail Forum > XMail Queue Manager > defrosting after mail loop

Posted by: bim Feb 14 2006, 01:20 PM
Hy,

An e-mail account has been configured as a loop for a while, but that problem has now been solved. New mail to that address does arrive. I would like to defrost e-mails that have been caught in the loop in the past. When I try to do so, they are however instantly frozen again.

The SLOG only shows the last attempt (Mail loop detected)

The message header looks like this (sorry, can't copy and paste from the Queue manager right now):
Received: from /spool/local
by ...
for ...
Tue, 14 Feb 2006 23:58:42 +0100
X-Deliver-To: ...
X-Deliver-To: ...
X-Deliver-To: ...
X-Deliver-To: ...
X-Deliver-To: ...
+ lots of line "X-Deliver-To"

I am using the most recent version of XMail Queue Manager (I assume, just downloaded it from your website a couple of minuts ago). I had read somewhere on this forum that some time ago, a new version for windows was released that makes it possible to defrost messages that where frozen because they where in a loop.

Am I doing something wrong? Is maybe the linux version not updated yet?

I'm using the agent on Fedora Core 3 and the manager on Windows XP.

Thanks for the help!

Give this one a try: http://xmailforum.homelinux.net/index.php?showtopic=1912

If this fails it would be nice if you could send me the orignal message + its SLOG file (zipped). BTW: I'm out of office until 19.02. ...
