Curious about the results? Then vote! They are directly displayed after voting!

We have restarted this poll to get a finer granularity (BSD and Solaris were missing in the original one). So please vote again.

As usual anonymous and confidetial. Thank you!

There was no way for me to select both Windows and Linux, since my Windows XP Pro servers as an exact replica of my RedHat Linux 9. At least all the files are the same, even though most of the server software is different. I use my XP machine to program and test, and then upload to my Linux machine for the world to see. wink.gif

The question meant on which platform you run production version and not the testing one.

well suppose they were to say, okay people voted on Windows 2003 server, and windows NT, and Linux, so lets stop doing the extra work to support the other OSs. I'm just letting the admins know that i use both, and both are equally important to me.

There is no intention to stop the support for multiple platforms. It's just a survey.

The fascinating result of this voting is, that XMail is used on Windows as much as on Linux. Even thought the Unix world has such big players like Sendmail and Postfix. So Davide's strategy and work has been proofed as excellent.

Unfortunately the voting module does not allow multiple votings ...
So if you love both, then just close your eyes and vote for one of them -- I did the same cool.gif

master.gif I´ve recently put a Xmail 1.20 on line for our medium size company.
My enviroment is similar to Davide´s description, and Xmail is running on a W2000 svr. It goes to Internet through a RedHat Firewall, acting as a internal and external server.

I've setup two production servers last week.
One for IT company on Slackware Linux. Second for hosting company (more than 300 users), on OpenBSD. Both with AntiVirus & spam filters. & Xmail works great in both places smile.gif

I use XMail on Suse Linux Enterprise Server 9 SP2 Kernel 2.6. After many modifications (thanks to the Board) it runs well without any Problems.
