Hello

I'm trying to install xspamcpd to be able to delete (or quarantine) mails per user/domain at our server, but I run into problem.

These are my settings.

I have spamassassin installed and this seems to work fine (it tags the mails the correct way)

filters.in.tab

When I send a mail to the adress bjorn@mydomain.com I recieve the mail but in the the log I get

I think I have followed the setup from http://www.henry.it/xmail/xspamcpd/

The thing is that I get the same error when trying to run only xspamc, also set up according to Henry...

Any suggestions are welcome,

What user is SA running as?

I'm a windows person, but I run SA on redWall (RH9) and the user used by redWall is filter.

Also switch from 127.0.0.1 or localhost to the machines actual IP. We're going from W2K3 to RH9 and it's running very well.

If it still fails, give Dario a shout. He's busy, but very helpful!

The spamd is running as root. And I still get the same response when changing the ip into the wolrdwide one. Plus then also, I end up with

One of the strange things (that I never understood) was that when I built the source I never got the file xspamcpd, only a file named xspamc. According to Henry this should not be the case... but I will ask him directly instead

Try removing "!aex" from your post-data.tab file. I just looked at my installation and remembered that I needed to remove it, but I cannot remember why. Sorry.

The !aex only have to do with local users and should not be the problem. I have also tested without it -> no success so far.

But I still get the same error in my webmin system-log.

I removed !aex again from the post-data.filter and use 127.0.0.1 as SpamHost.

But now the next question is, how can I set it up to only filter for some domains (for example the domains that I have in my filter.in.tab)? Is this possible, or should I use some other solution.

My dream senario would be,
per domain - a xspamcpd.ini file
