i want to make my xmail server have the following features:
1.the mails inside my domain can sendmail through the server freely 2.the mails outside my domain can sendmail through the server only if has the authentication and 3.any mail outside can sendmail to the mail inside freely
which files should i modify ,and how!?
please!

1) set smtprelay.tab with Your internal IPs

2) set Your external clients to use authentication

3) this is the standard behaviour for a mail server

I meeting a alike thing.

I want to make my xmail server have the following features:
1.the mails can sendmail through the server only if has the authentication
2.any mail outside can sendmail to the mail inside freely

I have set "SmtpConfig" "mail-auth" in the server.tab. but, mail outside can not sendmail to the mail inside freely .

which files should i modify ,and how!?

You don't need mail-auth. Pleas follow the step 1) and 2) as I suggested to You in the previous post.

I need to make same features.
Some difference is that i can't set internal IPs in smtprelay.tab coz i want to clients send and receive mail from anywere on the Internet.

Is it possible? What should i modify, and how?
