Hi,
I am running a XMail-Server for about 2 months now for testing and it worked fine. 2 days ago i put a new domain on it with about 20 users, which pop their mail every 10 minutes. I know this shold NOT be a problem, but i now have a cpu load of about 13-16!!!! and i already got messages like "system too busy" Any Idea??? shutting down XMail will reduce the load...... Hello...
I proofed it once more: uptime without running xmail: 5:47am up 12:54, 2 users, load average: 0.01, 0.97, 6.44 uptime 1 minute after starting xmail (no connections!): 5:52am up 12:59, 2 users, load average: 7.16, 2.55, 5.22 after a whole day of running xmail, the load grows up to 17!!!! and the SYSTEM takes more than 70% of cpu (checked by "top" command) i also tried to reduce the threads, but that makes no real difference ...
