Hiya!

I was just curious about XPai and PHPXmail. They both look exactly the same. I've used XPai for awhile now and just was wondering if PHPXmail was better.

It depends. XPAI has some features which PHPXMAIL doesn't have and vice versa.
Try both and you can then decide which one to use.
