I do a search command in linux.

find /var/MailRoot/spool -name *.host -print

And come up with like 50 different messages spread out between the "froz, slog, mess and etc" directories.

However, when I run xqm -q all, I get nothing??? WHy is that?

We just "restored" our server box so I do not have access to these files. (We are thinking that there was more going on in this box). If it happens again i will let you know.

I did notice that my xqmagent will not stay up.

>export MAIL_ROOT=/var/MailRoot/
>/var/MailRoot/bin/xqmagent

And i run a ps- x.

It shows it running but then when I try to connect it says "no agent found" and I run ps -x and its not there anymore???

Any ideas.

Please make sure,
- that the .conf file is stored in /etc
- and all permissions are set.
- The .conf file should bind the Agent to an existing IP and a free port.
- If you use wildcards for trusted IPs, the must be of the format *.*.*.*, e.g. 127.*.* would be invalid (only 2 placeholders here).

Do you use the latest release ?

Some note about deleting frozen msg:
There is indeed a bug that causes XQM not to scan the complete queue under certain circumstances. BHozar also reported this to me. Meanwhile I was able to track this issue. This will be fixed in the next release.
