What is your favorite webmail software for xmailserver? I'm looking for something easy to install. I tried UMPL today, but it is too difficult for me.

I'll keep you posted BooT.

Nevermind about my comment about MySql. Thinking about different program, different issues... wacko.gif

IlohaMail is pretty slick at first look. I don't like the fact that it uses its own mailer PHPMailer by default so the sender is phpadmin@domain.com.

I'm looking through the conf right now to make the changes. Only options are sendmail and courier. Well see what happens...

I will eventually like to do the MySql backend on this, but we'll have to see what happens.

The thing I like about this is that it looks like the programmer is active on the project, unlike UebiMiau. I'm going to do a little more experimenting before I switch it to production mode though. Can't switch too many times or customers won't be customers anymore.

Anybody want to start a new thread in the webmail section on Ilohamail and what they've found? I would, but I've already given my two cents. Have to wait until payday next week before I can again. biggrin.gif

LOL ndoeberlein

I know what u mean about switching!
Well...I loaded it... it looks cool
It is 1000 times faster on Ubi on those accounts i had issues with.

What i do not want is the Calendar... would like to turn it off...

MySQL DB for it....I dunno.... Curently running of file db.

It looks cool and it is very fast....
Would like to be able to set Lang and Login server on the 1st page so they can not be seen an not be changed?
Dunno how 2 do that....

I also got an php error on mailbox quota....

I went to their site ( http://ilohamail.org ) and looked at their forum there for support...and it SUCKS!
So yea...think we should set up a support forum here?

This looks better then Ubi..... 100 % Better i think....

Any ideas?

Thanx

BooT

I'm on their support forum now... You have to pick through the stuff like your on CSI. <- We'll have to see how many non-USA members get that! tongue.gif

BooT, I think you and I are probably the only ones on W2K(3) that are probably going to be early adopters of this. If Sasa's on board with Linux that would be great. I don't mind doing the docs for setup w/XMail as long as everyone contributes what they can.

leylandhk, what platform are you on and how do you have it setup?

Just saw the note on their forum that they are being phased out in favor of mailing lists. YUK!!! mad.gif

Right now I really think we need the addition of the farting and vomiting smilies! There should be a Smilie on the toilet also, because getting rid of a forum is the sh*ts! biggrin.gif
