I haved installed XMail ,but I can't telnet my computer at port 25,the response is "connection refused ",why,I have started XMail,thanks

Is it possible that you have port 25 blocked in whatever file that is in the /etc directory? I think it's /etc/inetd. or something like that... Sorry, still working on my reviving my Linux brain cells.
Or it could be that your SMTP.IPMAP.TAB file is too restrictive. -Cip Edited by - cip on 31 January 2002 18:41:49 |
