We use now UUDeview that works much better than munpack on MIME
decoding and support UUDeview supports the uuencoding, xxencoding,
Base64 and BinHex encoding methods, and is able to handle split-files

05.aug.2003 - J.Laffitte - replace the mkdir, chdir and rmdir functions by their equivalents in win32 api : CreateDirectory, SetCurrentDirectory and RemoveDirectory.
01.aug.2003 - Denis Olivier - update for public release.
31.jul.2003 - Julien Laffitte (DOLIST.NET) - main and primary coding.

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Member No.: 1267 Joined: 12-August 04	A comment concerned XAV with F-Prot Av. I have successfully installed XAV filter on XMailServer v1.20 and everything works fine. BUT. Some email messages with viruses attached are still delivered to users. After a short investigation I discovered that viruses use "disguise" - a zipped file inside original zip archive with the same name. Some even on third level! F-Prot can search archives but not nested ones. The problem is also with unzip.exe provided freely by Greg Roelofs. It can not extract zip file from zip archive with the same name (cannot overwrite old file). I dont know where the solution to this problem might be. Regards, Miha

Have a look: http://www.f-prot.com/support/windows/fpwin_faq/46.html Make the change then test with http://www.testvirus.org This is easily modified in Dario's AvFilter. I know I know... Naughty Naughty... but I couldn't help the plug.

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 22 Member No.: 1375 Joined: 26-October 04	I recently update to Xmail 1.20, using XAV from Denis Olivier and AVG 6. Until now, they are caching every animal trying to enter ! It works for me.
