The BAT is a lean and mean mail client wth many advantages over Outlook. If you don't need an Agenda and PIM-Sync then the BAT is IMHO the better choice. It's mighty filters never miss any mail, searching and managing your data is much faster. It comes with many more features, making your life easier ...

Efficient Antivirus Protection

Message Parking
Message parking is designed to prevent accidental deletion of a valuable message. When a message is parked, you will not be able to move it to another folder, nor will it be deleted or automatically purged.

You can make backups of all the configuration settings, address books and folders, and restore such information from the backup file in case of accidental data loss.
