Up to now, there are only positive stability reports from Windows, Linux and FreeBSD. Acknowledgement from SOLARIS side is still missing.
Looks like this will be the last pre release before 1.18 final. -------------------- Bye,

Hi ALL,
If I could get some spare time I could try it on Solaris. Thus XMail run on Solaris 9 x86 or SPARC or both? I realy don't feel very confortable with Solaris, really new, but I've got a copy of Solaris 9 for x86 and could test it if I can grab a machine for this effect. If I can I'll give some report. Do some of you know a good guide for hardening and patching Solaris, as if I can test it it would be on a production environment, my own. Cheers, Joao |

Fine - please inform and post your experiences to davidel@xmailserver.org - he is the programmer. The hardware platform doesn't matter, but the OS should be Solaris 8 or 9.
