XMail Forum > XMail Server > ok i get an error when i try to connect

Posted by: anubis9311 Sep 12 2001, 04:53 PM
hi

Im trying to figure out how to stop the code error, (Tpc forcefully rejected 10061). Originally when i had this error it was caused by the service not being up and running... Now if i try to use Xmail Admin program it from my house to the server it causes this error... I client connect to the computer, or even when im right in front of it, it is up and running. However even if i restart the service i still get the error... I'm getting stumped and annoyed. I love this program but i have no clue how to get past this error.

thanks

If You're talking about the CTRL service, try to telnet to the port 6017 before loading responsibilities over the software.
If You can telnet and receive the XMail welcome message, You're OK.
