Any ideas on this problem other than "well don't do that then."
I use passwords which have special characters such as # or _ in them. Xmail quite likes them. But XMail-WAI gives me the following message when I key in my password. Form contains the following errors: Password syntax error When I change my password to remove the special character it works. |

Ver 4.2 still does this. Any ideas other than hacking at the source code?

Source code in the aspx pages was easily hacked to remove the offending two sets of two lines. You do not need to download the full source, just the regular package. Do a search on password and look for regularexpressionvalidator. But only on the password lines not the email address lines.
The author, a fellow MVP, will be removing the code for the next release. He stated there were problems in the original releases with special characters. |
