Hi,
I'm running XMail 1.25 on gentoo 2.6.28-hardened-r9. Some of the accounts from more domains need to be relayed to another server, running Microsoft Exchange. I'm using mailproc.tab with values "smtprelay" "gateway.domain.tld:25" to accomplish this. Everything works fine, as far as the server is online. But if for some reason this server is down, messages get lost. My question is, is there a way to configure XMail in a way, so that messages get cached in local mailbox if the gateway is inaccessible and the server would retry to deliver them? Otherwise maybe I'll have to setup a pop3 connector on every gateway, so that it would download these messages. Thank you! |
