Help with Win2003 apache Traid settings, cant connect

Junior Member Group: Members Posts: 25 Member No.: 1940 Joined: 16-March 06	I installed lates version of Queue Manager I have XQM agent installed I pointed my mail root to C:\apache2triad\mail\ AGENT_HOST = 69.94.my.IP AGENT_DYNIP = 0 TRUSTED_CLIENTS = 69.94.my.IP CTRL_HOST = 69.94.131.16 CTRL_PORT = 6017 I get xmail server not found error Please help

No - I'm not an answering script ... Group: Admin Posts: 6631 Member No.: 195 Joined: 19-June 02	Pls make sure that - XMail's registry settings are correct. This is typically a missing MAIL_ROOT key. Details see XMail manual. - The Agent's port is opened in the server's firewall setup. - Port 6017 is opened in the firewall too, because you use the server's external IP here in CTRL_HOST. Im confused I don need xqmagent?

Copy the supplied MailRoot directory where you want it to reside (normally 'C:\MailRoot').

Setup the MailRoot directory (and subdirectories and file) permissions to allow access only to System and Administrators. Doing this you can run XMail as a console startup only if you're Administrator (service startup as System).

Copy XMail executables to 'C:\MailRoot\bin'.

With 'regedit', create 'GNU' key inside 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\' and then 'XMail' key inside 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GNU'.

Create a new string value named 'MAIL_ROOT' inside 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GNU\XMail\' with value 'C:\MailRoot'.

Optionally create a new string value named 'MAIL_CMD_LINE' inside 'HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\GNU\XMail\' to store your command line options (read well the rest of this document).

And you really start XQM on the same machine on which XMail runs too ? Server_Overload usually means that the recipient's server does accept only a limited number of connections. Your HeloDomain should be the registered domain name pointing to your server's IP.
