Error Installin XMail queue Manager 1.46, Problem in installing XQM in Debian

Newbie Group: Members Posts: 2 Member No.: 1175 Joined: 15-June 04	Hi, i tried to install XMail queue Manager 1.46 on Debian distribution 3.01. When i run ./xqwin i obtained: ImportError: /usr/src/source/xqwin/wxPython.wc.so: symbol __ti7wxEvent, version WXGTKD_2.4 not defined in file libwx_gtkd-2.4.so with link time reference. i've installed libwx_gtkd library ... What's the problem? Thank you

No - I'm not an answering script ... Group: Admin Posts: 6631 Member No.: 195 Joined: 19-June 02	XQM comes with all files included, so there is no need to install this lib. The problem here seems to be a difference between some sub version of the installed lib and the one that comes with XQM. Please try this: - Uninstall wx_gtkd library - cd xqm - cp libwx_gtkd-2.4.so /usr/lib I assume /usr/lib is the standard lib path on Debian.
