XMail Forum > XMail Queue Manager > a specific xqmagent.conf

Posted by: bern Feb 20 2006, 04:53 PM

Hi Everybody

In a linux box,

How i can specify a specific xqmagent.conf ?

I want that xqmagent uses a file of configuration other than xqmagent.conf.

THe reason: I am using more than one instance of Xmail in my server.

Best regards

Hi :-)

maybe nobody understand my question tongue.gif

On a Linux Box i've got two instances of Xmail serveur (seprate IP Adress).

It work fine and I can administrate the two Instances with Xmail Administrator.

The problem is, I don't succeed in Running Xqueue Manager because I don't know how to specify a specific xqmagent.conf for each instance.

In fact, I ve got a method but ....I don't like it The method consist in copy the specific xqmagent.conf when i lauch the xqmagent.

For example:

rm /etc/xqmagent.conf
cp xqmagent1.conf xqmagent.conf
run xqmagent
rm /etc/xqmagent.conf
cp xqmagent2.conf xqmagent.conf
run xqmagent

So... I will appreciate a more "sexy" method tongue.gif

Best regards.
