XMail Forum > XMail Queue Manager > Sending Repeated Messages

Hello,

I send a weekly newsletter to 16.000 people. I use mail bomber to send it.
The point is that some users have told me they are receiving up to 20-25 copies of the same email newsletter each week I send it.
I have Xmail installed and Queue manager as well.
I was wondering whether this problem might be caused in any way due to Queue manager.

I have some test accounts in different free mail servers (hotmail...) where I also send the newsletter to test, and I only receive 1 copy every week, so I dont really know whether the problem is ours or not.

thanks for your comments,
J.

This is problem on clients side, well mail servers from which they collect mail.

It's just a tool. No influence on the mail flow.

I know this phenomena from AV-Scanners with a builtin mail checker. E.g. Norton AV and McAfee Vscan produce multiple outgoing mail under certain circumstances.

OK, thanks,

Latest news, looks like the bussines that manages the domains that receive repeated mails from our newsletter is the same. So now I am sure the error isnt in our server.

thanks for the help.
