XMail Forum > XMail Queue Manager > XQM Agent / XMail Queue Manager

Posted by: weeze003 Jan 10 2003, 04:29 PM
Hello,

I'm running XMailserver on FreeBSD 4.

I would like to check the queue with XMail Queue Manager, but I'm getting 2 errors.

1.
If I understand correctly you need to run XQM Agent to be able to use 'Defrost' , 'Server Start' , 'Server Stop' and status queries.
I installed the agent but when I want to start the daemon I get the message:
ELF interpreter /compat/linux/lib/ld-linux.so.2 not found
Abort

I downloaded Python 2.2.2 and used the installation as shown on http://python.org/2.2.2/

"All others should download Python-2.2.2.tgz, the source tarball, and do the usual "gunzip; tar; configure; make" dance. "
What am I doing wrong wacko.gif

2.
If I start XMail Queue Manager on my WIN 2000 workstation "using the UNC for the MailRoot" and want to Query the results the workstation seems to wait and wait and wait and wait ......

I can access the folders "spool/local and spool/temp" other folders in the spool folder are not readable (permissions ???)

Thanks in advance

D-J

1) You don't need the Python interpreter. You are simply missing that system lib:
/compat/linux/lib/ld-linux.so.2

2) Seems to be a bug in some environments. There will be a workaround in the next release.
-- sorry for that! If you like you can beta test it, when available ..
