Ok guy's
![]() My system setup. Apache2traid with Xmail Windows XP I'm behind a router. I'm on the cox network and they block outbound and inbound port 25 or something. So that brings us to my problem. I'm trying to send mail from a form on my site. I spent the hole weekend learning the php code to do so (very proud of my self) anyway when I send the email threw the form my php page tells me that everything is ok and the email has been sent. But no email in my inbox so I went in to the Apache CP and looked at the smtp log and it shows the email was sent. But no email in my inbox ![]() Could this have something to do with my isp cox.net and if so how do I fix the problem? Thanks for any help 'Edit------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If this has something to do with my ISP is there a work around? Like I did for the web server with dyndns to forward to a different port? This post has been edited by Codey1 on Apr 28 2009, 12:07 AM |

I would say yes. Most likely your mail is using port 25 and as you point out, your ISP is blocking it. You could use somebody else's email server as a smart host I think and on a different port....
Good luck. -------------------- --Bob |
