I'm looking for good webmail software and didn't find one that was really to my satisfaction. Maybe someone in here does know the soft I'm looking for. Here are a couple of things I'd like to see in the webmail soft:
  • Should work in Win32 (ASP or Perl or maybe PHP)
  • Being able to create extra folders and move mail from inbox to a folder that will keep the mail within the webmail client
  • Users should be able to log in with their normal POP3 log-in details and not have to create a seperate webmail account
  • Not too expensive. Open source freeware would be nice biggrin.gif I'm willing to pay, but only if it's reasonable and for an unlimited amount of accounts
  • Obviously, it should work with XMailserver rolleyes.gif

So if you know any good soft that would be able to do this...

I'm not easily satisfied, I know wub.gif

Hmmm...which one did you allready look for?
For this what you want is Horde's IMP where you can create additional folders.

Ooh, I thought that was only possible when using it with IMAP. I'll have an other look at it. Thanks for the info!

biggrin.gif WebmailASP . I like its potential. It does most of the things you want but not all. I am trying to start a Forum for the combination of WebmailASP and Xmail Server to help create a better feature set for WebmailASP, so far not a lot of enthusiasm.
The things I like....
ASP Open Source.
Looks similar to a web mail version of Outlook (Style etc...)
Easy to install and configure
Total package under $200.00 US includes source code and COM objects
I see a potential to develop a closer net relationship with Xmail Server.

For any ASP programmers looking to possibley get involved see WebmailASP Post below
