I have a client that has a subscriber base of 150,000 subscribers. He sends out a newsletter a couple times a week. I need to configure xmail to send out to the 150K subscribers within an hour - hopefully a lot less.
I have a Windows 2003, quad core, 4 gig ram, 2x160 gig SCSI system that is dedicated to the task. It's at a high-speed datacenter with 100mbs connection. The email is apprx 50K in size and sent to 150K subscribers I'm looking for help in what the best configuration is for xmail. Right now I run it with these options: -Ms C:\mailroot\ -Md -Mm -M4 -P- -B- -Sp 27 -Sl -SI 000.000.000.000 -Y- -F- -C- -W- -Qn 512 -Qr 5 -SX 512 -Mr 5 000.000.000.000 is my IP address Does anyone have any suggestions on how to optimize this? Is there a setting(s) I'm missing? I really need to peg this machine if possible, and right now it seems to send out on the slow side. It's really important that the email goes out quickly. Any help would be appreciated! Thanks. |
