Newbie Group: Members Posts: 1 Member No.: 1983 Joined: 26-April 06	hello, im running a Xmail server since 2 years and its an excellent mail server. 3 months ago, i installed an antivirus and spamassassin. Antivirus works fine, spamc and spamd didnt comunicate so spam messages were still reaching users mbox. Now i fixed it and spam mail arrives with a in-body string telling about that message could be spam. Anyone knows where i can change Spam text added in mail? searched but no hints. How can i delete spam messages with a high score? Readed about that around but seems i cant do it with just xmail and spamassassin. Thanks in advance. Marco.

Spam is tagged by Spammassassin and the Mail reaches it's Destination as a attached File of the Spamreportmessage. Is it Still possible that this Files does not reach the Destination Mailbox and instead send to a Junk Mail Box? I'm using Spammassassin 2.64 and Don Drakes Script 1.5 on XMail 1.22 Thanks a lot Qapla' Qugh

It deletes spam tagged messages when the score of SA is above 10.5. You can set it in the filter. http://xmailforum.homelinux.net/index.php?showtopic=3061 And also.... SA 3.1.4 is out. Maybe you should upgrade your SA! Hello.

Thanks for the Information, but I'm running Suse Linux 10.1 Kernel 2.6 and your Script is optmized to a Windows Enviroment. I don't think your Script is running directly without modification.

After reviewing your modified and Don Drakes original Script I've some Questions.

1. This Expression set's the maximum Size of an E-Mail to 256 Kb.

Am I right?

2. This Part of your Script deletes the Spam above 10,5 Hitpoints right?

3. After Investigation I think it's possible to convert your Windowsscript to Linux after altering the path variables. Is this right?

4. Does a Variable exists that reach the Postmaster mailadress like "$rcpt"?

5. If there is a Variable, is it possible get all Spam than forwarded to the Postmaster and the Spammail deleted for the Recipient?

6. If not, couldt it be created in the Script like:

my $Postmaster=Postmaster@mydomain.com; ? Same Focus like the Question before.

Sorry for that dumb Questions, but I'm trying to understand the Script without any knowledge of Perl Programming.

This is not the size of the mail, But the size of the mail header. 2. Yes... This is the points system SA works on. If the Spam Score is 10.6 it will delete the mail. Anything between 5.0 and 10.5 the header will be modified. 3. It is possible. And for the rest...I am not to well versed in Scripting to be able to answer those Q's But i am sure it is possible!
